Kinsale Community Garden Awards

With so much going on in schools, in hotel gardens, and in public spaces, it only seems right to recognise the efforts of local communities for taking the initiative and planting trees, and attractive, sustainable, productive plants in their own areas. So Transition Town Kinsale awards an annual prize (probably seeds & tools for next year!) for the most innovative open space garden project in the town. Last year the winners planted fruit and nut trees on a public green space in their estate.
